Firefighters and paramedics respond to the scene of an accident on Wednesday evening on 200 South near 400 West. The driver of a red Pontiac reportedly collided with two parked vehicles located some 200 yards east of where emergency responders found the injured driver. Witnesses reported that the driver seemed somewhat dazed after the incident. The vehicles which were reportedly hit were unoccupied at the time and no other individuals were hurt in the accident. The driver was transported by ambulance to Castleview Hospital. Police who responded to the scene said that the driver seemed to be impaired. However, they would need to test the victim to verify that suspicion.
