I just returned from the Wellington City cemetery to visit my husband’s grave. I had left flowers there on Mother’s Day.
To my surprise half the flowers were gone. I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised because I have read about this same thing happening to other people.
Anyway, whoever received a dozen white roses with purple accent flowers sometime after 8 p.m. Mother’s Day should be real proud of whoever gave them to you. They were stolen from my husband’s grave.
No he won’t miss them, but the grieving process is hard enough without people like those who took them. I hope whoever got them, enjoyed them!
