Tow truck operators from Steve’s Diesel Service prepare to pull a Ford Ranger from the wash located at approximately 900 East on Main Street in Price last Thursday morning. The driver of the vehicle, Phillip Odriscoll, apparently stopped at Maverick on Sept. 2 and, while he was inside the store, the truck reportedly drifted out of the gas station parking lot, across four lanes of traffic on Main Street, through the parking lot of Utah Central Credit Union and into the adjacent wash. The driver told police that he had the keys in his pocket and the pickup truck was not running. Odriscoll said he suspects the vehicle, which has a standard transmission, slipped out of gear. Police reported that no one was injured as a result of the incident and no property other than the truck appeared to have been damaged.
