County offers crisis hotline for domestic abuse victims in county

Climbing domestic violence incidence rates continue to pose a serious law enforcement and social concerns throughout the nation and across the state.
Unfortunately, Carbon County is not immune to the mounting problems domestic violence continues to create.
But fortunately, victims of domestic assault and spouse abuse who reside in the Castle Valley area may obtain assistance by simply making a local telephone call.
Domestic violence victims are encouraged to dial the county’s crisis hotline at (435) 637-6589.
The domestic violence telephone hotline number is available 24 hours per day.
In addition, the Family Support and Advocacy Center offers crisis care for children from infants to 11 years old.
Families may use the nursery for medical emergencies, financial stress, dealing with divorce, family violence and previous abuse.
