PRICE/DRAPER – Utahna Colleen Crowley Simon, age 53, passed away peacefully May 22, 2005, after a valiant battle with lung cancer at the home of her son in Draper surrounded by her loving family.
She was the youngest child of Hyrum S. Crowley Sr. and Ada Jones. She was born Nov. 13, 1951, in Salt Lake City. Married Roger Eastman, they had one son, Troy Roger Eastman, later divorced. Married Jermon Gene Goleman, they had one son, Cory Brandon Goleman, later divorced. Tahna married her soul mate, Darwin Simon in 1997, then losing him to Lymphoma a short but magical five years later. They had one son, Darwin James Simon Jr.
Utahna is survived by three sons, Troy (Lisa) Eastman, Kearns; Cory (Christina) Goleman, Draper; James Simon Jr., 7 years of age, Draper, who will be raised by Cory and Christina Goleman and their three children; and five grandchildren. She is also survived by four siblings, three sisters, LaVerne (Wendy) Williams, Salt Lake City; Jackie Curt (Ray), Caldwell, Idaho; Mattie (Peggy) Payton, Orangeville; brother, Nicholas B. Crowley (Shirley), Hourston, Texas; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by parents; two brothers, James Clenny Crowley and Hyrum S. Crowley Jr.
Family members would like to thank Rocky Mountain Hospice for the loving care they have provided. A memorial will be held in Utahna’s honor at Southeast Baptist Church, 1700 E. Fort Union Blvd. (7000 South), Cottonwood Heights, on May 27, at 11 a.m. The family will be receiving family and friends before the services. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations to the following fund that has been established for Tahna’s youngest, son, Darwin James Simon Jr. (7 yrs.) at any Washington Mutual Bank.

Funeral services for Sherryl Ella Gunter, formerly of Wellington, will be Friday, May 27, 10 a.m. in the Wellington LDS Stake Center where friends may call one hour prior to services.
