Carbon High student Craig Holtz, along with Samantha Hyde, Carol Graff and Danielle Olson await their turns to go to boys and girls state this June. Holtz will participate at Weber State University between June 6 and 10. The girls will all go to Southern Utah University during the same week. Both programs are designed to give students who participate an experience in American government and operations. The program also grants college credit for attending as well as the possibilities of scholarships for furthering their education. The girls will be honored by a tea at the Price Senior Citizens Center on May 16. The programs are sponsored by the American Legion and American Legion Auxillary.
