In the sprint events Brandon Hackwell placed 4th in both the 100 and 200 meter run. Kent Olson and Tyler Munns placed 6th in the 3200 meter and 800 meter run.
For the girls, Amie Stewart placed 2nd in the girls long jump, 3rd in the 100 meter hurdles and 1st in the 300 meter hurdles.

On March 19 Carbon will host its big invitational meet of the year. There will be 20 or more teams participating.
That meet will be a qualifying meet and a lot of the top athletes from around the state will be participating.
The meet begins at 9 a.m. on Carbon High School track and it should be a good day to see high school track and field at its finest.
