A Ford pickup slides in a canal just off Carbonville Road on Wednesday morning. The driver said he was off-road in the blink of the eye and attempts to back out just turned the truck sideways. Slick roads almost every morning in the last week have created numerous hazards for drivers. Law enforcement officers are asking motorists to slow down and recognize when roads are not optimal for fast turns or maneuvers.
