Connie Christensen

FREEDOM – Connie Faye Christensen, 42, passed away June 30, 2004 in Mt. Pleasant.
Born July 30, 1961 in Mt. Pleasant to Paul Blain and Lola Faye Blackham Stevens. She married Clair Christensen on Dec. 27, 1982 in Moroni.
Connie loved the outdoors, gardening, fishing with her dada, deer hunting, looking for arrowheads, collecting beautiful and unique rocks and caring for her pets that brought her so much enjoyment. She loved making and collecting jewelry.
Connie loved collecting all types of antiques. She was especially proud of her Coca Cola collection. “Mother’s Milk” was one of her favorite drinks.
She had a special love for the elderly and the downtrodden. Most of all, she enjoyed sharing her interests with family and friends.
Easter and the 4th of July were her favorite holidays.
Connie had the special ability to lift anyone’s spirit and, in doing so, lifted her own, which she so often needed through her many trials. Music was a large part of her day.
She loved her faithful dog, Roxy. She would say, “I love that dog, I don’t know why, I just do.”
Connie was loved so much and we all know why. She was more than a wife and mother, she was her husband’s and children’s best friend.
A beautiful, kind loving, fun soul has left us, but God has a wonderful new angel.
