A Price fire fighter sprays water on a grass fire near 500 South and 700 East on Monday morning. The fire was small and no one knew how it started, but Price Fire Chief Kent Boyack said such fires can often be caused by illegal fireworks or the mis-use of legal fireworks. Officials urge residents to be careful with their fireworks as the Independence Day holiday approaches. Caution will help reduce incidents of personal injury and injury to others, as well as helping to prevent fires in fields and areas around the county where conditions are very dry.
