Tracy Pierce and Jared Worley install a new piping system for the indoor pool at Desert Wave in Price. The old, cast iron galvanized pipe that has been at the pool since it was built is being replaced with plastic PVC which won’t corrode or rust like the metal pipe. The indoor pool is expected to reopen in the upcoming weeks. While the indoor pool is closed for the plumbing changes, patrons will get free tube rentals with admission. Swimmers may also opt for the new day pass combo, which includes lunch with the price of admission.
