David Sorensen

From cruise ships to Carbon county, David Sorensen has given up his job as chef on the Pacific Ocean to return home and manage the restaurant operations at the Holiday Inn in Price. Born and raised in Emery county, Sorensen is a graduate of Emery High School and Salt Lake Community college, where he earned a degree in culinary arts.
“I am glad to be home,” said Sorensen, who took over the chef responsibilities at the Skylight Restaurant.
He brings a refreshing change for the better to the menu at the Skylight Restaurant. Chef David recognizes the importance of “eye appeal” and using only the finest and freshest ingredients for his culinary creations.
Special features include homestyle cooking made from scratch.
