Mike Dmitrich stands in front of Price City Hall last week, wearing a St. Patrick’s Day grand marshal T-shirt.
Dmitrich represents Carbon County on the Utah Senate and traveled back to the area during a lull in activity at 2004 legislative session.
The Saint Patrick’s Day celebration will mark the event’s 20th anniversary in 2004. The parade is slated to start March 13 at noon on Price Main Street.
At 1 p.m., a traditional Irish dinner will be served at the Price Elks Lodge and, at 1:30 p.m., Mayor Joe Piccolo will present certificates to the 20 individuals who have served as grand marshals of the parade during the life of the event.
Organizations and residents are urged to place entries in the parade and to attend the festivities. For registration or event information, contact Corky Nichols at 637-2646.
