Los 2 Amigos, which is currently under construction next to Walmart, will open in the upcoming months. |
For those who feel limited by lack of choices in Price, things are looking up.
Five business have chosen Main Street for the location of their new or expanded business locations.
Already, the Subway on 382 East Main has opened the doors of their newly renovated sandwich shop. The increased capacity can accommodate a bigger, mealtime crowd and more sit-down customers, giving Carbon County better options for a quick, healthy meal.
James Banasky Insurance will also be relocating to a newly built office space on the northwest corner of Carbon and Main Street.
After 16 years in the office on 475 East Main, the group will triple their square footage and double the size of their parking lot.
The group, which has clientele throughout Utah and a substantial base in Carbon and Emery County, expects a move-in date sometime in the late spring.
“We are very into being a pleasing addition to downtown,” JD Banasky commented.
Just west of the Banasky building, the Silver Dollar Steakhouse will open next to the Silver Dollar Sports Club.
Owner Tony Siaperas said Carbon County diners can expect a restaurant experience unlike any other in the area.
Any cut of charbroiled steak along with a vast selection of seafood will be available at the high end steakhouse.
The restaurant will also feature a walk in wine cellar with over 100 different bottles to choose from.
The Silver Dollar Steakhouse will specialize in seven course meals with a big dessert menu and will have a sous chef.
Children will be allowed in the restaurant, although prices will cater more toward an adult crowd.
The restaurant is projected to open in late April or early May.
The Los 2 Amigos Mexican restaurant will also soon open its Main Street location next to Walmart.
The sit-down, family restaurant is expected to open in the upcoming weeks.
The final business making plans in Price is Sonic, America’s Drive-In.
Site plans are currently being discussed at the location of the old Matador restaurant, on 400 East Main Street.
Sonic offers a variety of fast food, ranging from burgers to wraps to sandwiches.
