PRICE/KANOSH – On this glorious day, Sept. 23, 2003, Lorenzo Snow Roberts, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, and friend passed through the veil to be with his family that has gone before him.
Snow was born in Kanosh on April 3, 1900 to Benjamin and Ann Eliza Roberts. Married Janice Maneta Boren in 1928, later sealed in the Manti LDS Temple.
He moved to Price in March of 1951. He worked, played and raised his family for the next 52 years. He lived a full life trading, mining and farming. The love of his life was his family and his horses. He was Price’s oldest member of society at 103.
Left behind, Utahna Cole, Nora Roberts, Madge Mangus (Mike deceased), Louise Atwood (Mel), Helen Roberts, Janice Davies (Ted), Maxine Roberts, Rodney Roberts (Connie), Marilyn Roberts, Larry Roberts (JoAnn), Renee Rhodes (Gene), and Margorie Baessler (Mike). Also 48 grandchildren, 113 great-grandchildren and 53 great-great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death by father; mother; three brothers and two sisters; five sons, Merril, Dean, Mont (Rocky), Benny and Blaine (Tiny); daughter, Elisabeth; and loving wife, Janice Maneta. Also six grandsons have gone before him.
He had a beautiful presence and yes he will be missed. The family wishes to thank the Parkdale Care Center for the respect, love and care they extended to dad.
Viewing will be at 11 a.m. Services will be Sept. 27, 1 p.m., at Wellington LDS 1st Ward.


Anthony Paiz


HIAWATHA – Anthony M. Paiz passed away Sept. 19, 2003 after a short battle with cancer.
He was born June 13, 1929 in Hiawatha. He died peacefully at his sister Lola’s home.
He is survived by brother, Henry C. Paiz; two sisters, Lola Keck and Tillie Lucero; and sister-in-law, Pat Paiz.
Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Sacramento, Calif.
