Five young men were honored in June for their quick thinking and saving a friend’s life following a cave collapse. Honored included Panther Prettyman, Levi Graff, Lincoln Dinkins, Michael Hutchings, and Christopher Hutchings. The award is the Visionary Service Leader Award and given each month by Price City.
The boys were nominated for the award for exemplary service. In his presentation Mayor Joe Piccolo commented on their quick thinking.
In July the city honored Shirley Shilaos. She was recently honored through her employer as providing the highest customer service level in the state,
The award is given monthly for assistance to make Price a progressive, friendly community and given to a person who is dedicated to excellence in service as well as upholds high professional standards,
