The Carbon county rodeo will be held August 8 and 9 in conjunction with the county fair. The performances will begin each night at 7:30 p.m. with the pre-show starting at 7 p.m. Slack is set for Friday after the performance. Junior barrels will begin at 7 p.m. each night. Registration will begin at 6:30 and there wilk be a $5 fee per participant. Monies will be used to pay the top placings. Junior bull riding is an added attraction and anyone interested can contact Kyle at 637-2215 before August 4. The rodeo is sanctioned by the Western States Association and the stock producer is Clegg Championship Rodeo, owned and operated by Danny Clegg of Coalville.Cost of the rodeo is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and youth seven to 12 years. Under six years old is free. All rodeo contestants must call Georgina at 435-336-2563 on August 3 betweem 4 and 8 p.m. Call backs will take place Monday between 4 and 8 p.m.
