Local golfers score hole in one. On July 8, Larry Stella made a hole in one on number 17 at the Carbon Country Golf Course. The shot was made using a seven wood from 160 yards out while playing in the senior association. Dennis Jensen, Jack Woodward and Bill Campbell Sr. each witnessed the accomplishment.
On July 14, Jeff Westergard Jr. made a hole in one on hole number 13 at the local golf course using a sand wedge from 126 yards out. Westergard was playing with Jeff Johnson and Randy Railsback.
