Elder Chavez
Elder Edward M. Chavez III will return to the local area after serving in the South Dakota-Rapid City mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is the son of Edward and Jerry Chavez of Wellington. He is the grandson of Edward Chavez Sr., the late Dora Chavez and Ellis and LouJean Willson.
An open house will be Elder Chavez’ honor Feb. 1 from 5 to 8 p.m. at his home, 484 S. 100 East, Wellington.
