Cellular One in Price celebrated the grand opening of its new store location at 125 South Hwy 55. lat Friday, Dec. 13.
The Price Chamber of Commerce participated in “Cord Cutting” festivities where a 25-foot land line phone cord will be stretched by chamber members and cut by Cellular One representatives and managers.
“More and more of our customers are ‘cutting the cord’ to their home phone and replacing it with wireless,” said Shonie Christensen, Cellular One Retail Sales Manager for Price. “This new store location will continue to respond to our customer’s needs for the best in wireless services, digital equipment and accessories. We are proud to offer the latest in wireless technology with our new digital system.”
This new store in the Airport Mall replaces the Cellular One store previously located nearby on the same street for the past eight years. Christensen will continue to manage this new location, which employs two others, Rita Vigor, assistant sales manager, and Annette Sadler, retail sales representative. Cellular One has operated in Price since 1994 offering it’s well-known customer service. Western Wireless Corporation acquired the Price market from American Rural Cellular in 2000.
