Castleview Hospital volunteer Pat Marinoni glues sleeves onto the inside cover of the books recently placed in the new cancer library at the local medical treatment facility.
The library came about through grant money and donations and allows cancer survivors and patients to visit and check out references regarding cancer.
The library also provides gift baskets for hospital patients who suffer from cancer along with pamphlets full of informative information regarding the disease. Wigs and various supplies are available free of charge to individuals who suffer from side effects caused by the disease.
Open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until noon and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., the library is located near the nurses station at the center of the hospital in Price.
