Prehistoric museum slates Feb. 8 lectures by pro rodeo announcer Don Jesser

Carbon County rodeo queen Tanna Allred studies the photos showcased in the Otho Hartly display at College of Eastern Utah Prehistoric Museum. In conjunction with the Cultural Olympiad traveling exhibit, the museum will host free lectures by pro rodeo announcer Don Jesser on Feb. 8. The presentation for elementary students is slated at 2 p.m. in the museum classroom. The session for the general public is scheduled at 7 p.m. Entitled ‘This Contest is for Real Hands: Rodeo Photographs of the 1930s,’ the Hartly exhibit opened last Friday and will remain on display through March 4.
