Many local people are not even aware that a recreational vehicle “dump site” is available at no cost across the street from the Price River Water Improvement District offices on Fairgrounds Road. On this day a motor home from Quebec towing an auto was using the site as a way station. The people were actually kind of camped there while the washer in their motorhome washed their clothes and they dried them on racks attached to the vehicle. The site allows people with campers, trailers, motor homes or boats with holding tanks to dump the refuse. There is culinary H2O at the station as well to wash out tanks and to fill fresh water tanks. Almost anytime of the day (and sometimes the night) at least one vehicle can be seen using the facility. The station has a capacity for two rigs at a time and sometimes on busy weekends units are lined up.
