David Espinoza
PRICE – David Kevin Espinoza, age 36, died September 21, 2002 in Price.
He was born Nov. 12, 1965 in Leadville, Colo., to Benjamin and Faye Clark Espinoza. Married Christine James September 24, 1986 in Castle Dale, later divorced.
David’s greatest joy and love of his life was his daughter, Shaelynn. He waited a long time for her. He loved and cherished her just as she loves him, unconditionally and forever. Dave was a fisherman, he could fish 24/7, rain and shine. He liked to say “Fish fear me and women love me.” David always wished he could fly like the eagles. Raise your wings and soar, for this earth bounds you no more. You will be deeply missed by all who love you and you will never be forgotten.
Survived by daughter, Shaelynn C. Espinoza, Spring Glen; parents, Faye (Paul) Mager, Cleveland; Benjamin Espinoza, Salido, Colo.; two sisters and two brothers, Dora (Johnny) Westbrook, Sunnyside; Steven (Barbara) Espinoza, Delta, Colo.; Paula (Randy) McManus, Sunnyside; and Phillip Mager, Craig, Colo.
Memorial service Wednesday, Sept. 25, 11 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s Wednesday one hour prior to service. Interment, Price City cemetery.
Darrell Cripps
HELPER – Loving husband and father, Darrell Dean Cripps, age 44, passed away September 20, 2002 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born Oct. 13, 1957 in Ogden, to Walter Amber and Irene Lucille Milano Cripps. Married Peggy Sue Perri Dec. 31, 1980 in Elko, Nev. She died Feb. 16, 1986. Married Allison Martinez Sept. 16, 2002 in Spring Glen.
Member of the Catholic Church. Darrell loved hunting, fishing, boating, waterskiing, bowling and just being outdoors. His friends and family were the love of his life.
He is survived by wife, Allison Cripps, Helper; four children, JayCee and KaCee Martinez, both of Helper; Channda (Sean) Metz, Salt Lake City; Rorry Cripps, Spring Glen; mother, Irene Cripps, Price; father, Walter (June) Cripps, Clifton, Colo.; brothers, Ronnie (Teri) Cripps, Price; Jerry (Kaye) Cripps, Price; sister, Karrie (Jon) Gordon, Helper; and many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
Funeral Mass Tuesday, Sept. 24, 10 a.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home Tuesday one hour prior to Mass.
August Blanc
PRICE/ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – August Blanc, 71, died August 16, 2002.
He was born April 19, 1931 in Price. On Aug. 12, 1961 he married Virginia Ann Wright, who preceded him in death on July 28, 2002.
He graduated from Utah State University June 4, 1960.
He is survived by three children, Susan Allen, John Blanc and Elizabeth Cunniff; six grandchildren; two brothers, Albert Blanc and Marcel Blanc of Price and one sister, Anice Robel, Manhattan, Kans.
Funeral Mass was Wednesday, Aug 21 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Englewood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Porter Hospice/Johnson Center, 5020 E. Arapahoe Rd., Centennial, Colo.
