Elder Christensen
Elder Jacob Brett Christensen returned to Price on Aug. 29 after serving in the New York-Utica mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Elder Christensen’s missionary homecoming meeting will be Sept. 8 at 11:30 a.m. at the Westwood LDS Ward, located at 175 N. 1280 West, Price.
Friends and family will visit with Elder Christensen following the meeting at his home, 239 N. 1350 West, Price.
He is the son of Cindy Christensen and Dennis Christensen.
Elder Green
Elder Jeffrey Green has been called to serve in the Honduras-San Pedro Sula mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Elder Green’s missionary farewell meeting will be Sept. 8 at 11 a.m. at the Helper LDS Stake Center.
Elder Green will visit with friends Sept. 7 at 5:30 p.m. at the Mower residence, 3800 N. 1590 West, Spring Glen. He is the grandson of Vera Gerrard.
Elder Hussey
Elder Jonathan Hussey has been called to serve in the Georgia-Atlanta mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is the son of Dixon and Robin Hussey.
Elder Hussey’s missionary farewell meeting will be Sept. 8 at 9 a.m. at the Gordon Creek LDS Ward Chapel, located at 175 N. 1280 West, Price.
An open house will be presented in Elder Hussey’s honor that afternoon from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m.
Elder Potter
Elder James LaMoyne Potter has been called to serve in the Honolulu-Hawaii mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Elder Potter will speak during sacrament meeting Sept. 8 at 9 a.m. at the Price 7th LDS Ward, 995 E. 700 North.
An open house will be presented for family and friends at the Potter residence Sept. 7 from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
He is the son of Jae and Lisa Potter. He is the grandson of Lyle and Nellene Heinz and Mack and Judy Potter. He is the great-grandson of Marion Jensen and Hattie Jones.
Elder Thorpe
Elder Matthew Thorpe recently returned to the local area after serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Puerto Rico.
Elder Thorpe will speak Sept. 8 at 9 a.m. during sacrament meeting at the LDS Chapel located at 165 West 800 North in Castle Dale.
