Rescue workers from the Helper City Fire Department and the Utah Highway Patrol carry a victim injured in a traffic accident Saturday afternoon up the embankment that leads to the Price River. An alleged improper passing incident purportedly forced the sports utility vehicle off the roadway and into the Price River near milepost 225 at approximately 2 p.m. on May 25. Apparently, a second vehicle was attempting to pass on U.S. Highway 6 and ran the SUV off the road. The SUV careened down a hill, hit a tree and rolled over into the river. One occupant in the sports vehicle was able to get out not long after the accident occurred. Later Saturday afternoon, local law enforcement officials launched an effort to locate the vehicle that purportedly caused the accident.
