Amie, a sophmore, and Gina, a junior, are the first Delta High School players to ever make the State Team. They will be in the water for 8 hours on Saturday and 4-5 hours on Sunday. After two days of grueling competition, the selection of the Zone team will be made. The Zone Team will compete at Nationals May 31 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Amie Marshall is the daughter of Mike and Becky Marshall, who are two former Carbon High School graduates. She is the Granddaughter of Betty Marshall, of Wellington, and Mike and Sandra Marshall, of Helper, and Fay and Carole Giles, of Price. She is the Great-Granddaughter of Stella Marshall, also of Helper.
