Connie Echols
WHITEFISH, Mont. – Connie Lee Vestal Echols was recently killed in an automobile accident.
Connie was born April 3, 1944 in Standardville to Leonard Vestal and Twila (Mickie) Hayes. She married Charles E. Echols.
She is survived by her husband, Charles, and her daughter, Kara (Robbi) James. Also survived by her mother, Twila (Mickie) Hartzell; stepfather, John E. Hartzell; brother and sisters, Larry (Sharron) Vestal, Louise (Marty) Wilkinson, John (Elena) Hartzel, Janet (David) Meye and Jamie E. Hartzell; many nieces and nephews; and a special great-niece, Katy Lynn Martak. Preceded in death by her father, sister and brother.
Funeral services were July 24, 2001 at Whitefish, Mont. Interment, Kalispell, Montana.
Rock Reed
EAST CARBON CITY – Rock A. Reed, age 41, died July 26, 2001.
He was born Sept. 27, 1959 in Babbitt, Nev., to James and Wanda Thomas Reed. Married Amber Stanley July 11, 1992 in Aztec, N.M.
Rock enjoyed the western lifestyle and loved being a cowboy. He loved hunting, fishing, searching for Indian artifacts and rocks.
Survived by his wife, Amber Reed; one son and two daughters, Chris, Deonna and Johnna Reed, all of East Carbon; parents, James and Wanda Reed, Sanger, Texas; brother, James (Beverly) Reed, Liberal, Kan.; sister, Connie (Rob) Wylie Dallas, Texas; sister, Candy (V.B.) Atchison, Granbury, Texas; and grandmother, Buena Thomas, Sanger, Texas.
Memorial service Monday, July 30, East Carbon Community Church under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home. Interment, Gribble Spring Cemetery, Denton County, Texas.
