Ron and Lorilyn Vogel are pleased to announce the marriage of their son, Stephen, to Cho Yan “Rita” Wong, the daughter of Wong Kam Cheung and Ng Siu Ngor, of Hong Kong. They were married March 18, 2017 in the Provo City Center Temple.
Stephen is a graduate of Carbon High School, USU Eastern, and Southern Utah University. He served in the Missouri Independence Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Stephen is the grandson of LaVell and Mayzell King and Carla Vogel and the late Robert Vogel.
Rita grew up and attended school in Hong Kong. She served in the China Hong Kong mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She moved to the United States to continue her education. Her journey brought her to Price, Utah where she graduated from USU Eastern. She became acquainted with Jim and Jackie Shorts while attending USU Eastern. They opened their home to Rita and became her American family.
The couple will make their home in Orem, Utah.
