David Arnette

PRICE-Our beloved husband, father and friend, David Everest Arnette, 72, passed away March 12, 2017 at Castleview Hospital in Price.
He was born February 21, 1945 in San Francisco, California to Clyde Arnette and Marcheta Curnell. David spent his early childhood in Carbon County where he was raised by his mother and step-father, John F. Pierucci. He attended local schools and graduated from Carbon High School. David furthered his education by obtaining a bachelors from Howard Payne College in Brownwood, Texas and a Master’s of Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological School in Fort Worth, Texas.
From 1976-2004, David resided in Texas where he worked as a machinist and continued his ministry as a Bible Vocational Pastor. In 2004, David and Carole returned to Price to care for his parents. While living in the area he became an active member of the Price Chapel-Christian Missionary Alliance where he was presently serving as the Head Deacon and in the Men’s Ministry. David held the keys to the church in high regards and if there was something that needed to be done, he was there. He was always assisting others and willing to serve in any capacity.
Survivors include his wife, Carole Arnette, Price; daughter, Susan Marie Arnette, Price; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Dee (Wes) Martin, Lubbock, TX, Marsha Lee Sagebiel, San Antonio, TX; nephew, Lou Pierucci, Santa Rosa, CA; nieces, Miriam and Esther Pierucci, Colorado Springs, CO. David was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, John Stephen Pierucci.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to everyone at the Price Chapel and the doctors and nurses at Castleview Hospital for your exceptional care to David and our family. Your many acts of kindness will never be forgotten.
Funeral service will be held, Friday, March 17, 2017, 11:00 a.m., Price Chapel-Christian Missionary Alliance (611 West Price River Drive) where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the Cliffview Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of David online at www.mitchellfunerahome.net
