EAST CARBON -Warren “Spud” Collins, age 71, passed away November 19, 2017 while surrounded by his family.
He was born December 20, 1945 in Thermopolis, Wyoming to Warren and Betty Kallas Collins.
Spud always said “There are no bad days on a tractor seat.” He enjoyed plowing snowy driveways for his friends and neighbors. He was a very kind and helpful man. He loved camping, hiking, four wheeling and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his son, Brad (Allie), Holiday, Utah; daughter, Diana (Mark) Holt; and grandson, Aiden, Sunnyside; siblings, Bert (Mary) Collins, Price, Tressa McArthur, Billings, MT, Betty Lee, Tacoma, WA, Helen (Raymond) Brandon, Grand Junction, CO, Byron (Stephanie) Collins, Price, Nola Porter and Rich Vose, Sunnyside; special nieces and nephews, Michelle, Kristen, Conner, Logan, Reagan and RJ.
Preceded in death by parents; brothers, George and Roy.
Spud requested no funeral service. A special memorial will be held in the spring on the desert where he loved to be.
