This young man, along with some others were in the mountains last week enjoying the snow that is still present there, despite the meltdown in the valley the last few days. Forecasters say this warm February thaw is short lived and by next weekend cold and stormy weather will be back in store for most of the state. At present the snow pack in the drainage is very low so hopefully later winter and spring storms will bring the water supply to where it needs to be to get the area through the coming summer.
