General manager Richard Shaw reviews an advertising campaign with ad director Jenni Fasselin, sales representative Kate Johansen and production manager Jacee Ashby on Monday morning. Shaw was named to the position last week by the Carbon-Emery newspapers’ parent company, Brehm Communications. In the capacity, Shaw will oversee operations at the Sun Advocate and Emery County Progress. Ken Larson will continue to serve as the publisher of the local newspapers. Larson is also serving in a consultant capacity for three papers owned by the company in southern California, which will take him away from the Castle Valley area for extended periods of time.
