This week is National Child Safety Week. One of the most important aspects of protecting children is for them to wear helmets when they ride bicycles and scooters. The Southeastern Utah Health Department and the Sun Advocate are sponsoring a coloring contest so one lucky child can get a free helmet. The best entry turned into the health department (28 South 100 East) or the Sun Advocate office (845 East Main) by 5 p.m. on May 18 will receive the free helmet. Entrants must be 10 years old or younger, and their name, age, address and phone number must be attached in order for them to win. Judging will be done by SE Utah Health Department and Sun Advocate personnel.
