A reception honoring the newlyweds will follow the ceremony from 6 to 8 p.m. Dancing from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Larry and Janice Bruno announce the marriage of their daughter, Jessica Bruno, to Sam Sorensen, the son of John and Marilee Sorensen. Jessica and Sam will be married June 4 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the 23rd Floor Reception Center, located at 299 South Main Street in Salt Lake City.
Jessica is a 2001 graduate of Carbon High School. Sam is a graduate of Highland High School in Salt Lake City. He served in the Brazil Joao Pessoa mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They both attend the University of Utah, where Jessica is majoring in biomedical engineering and Sam is majoring in biology with a chemistry minor.
The couple will make their home in Salt Lake City where they currently reside.

Parents of the bride are Tyrone and Joyce Powell, formerly of Price, and Kerry and Karla Powell of Huntington.
Kris is currently employed by AAA Insurance. TyAnna is an account representative for Del Sol. The couple plan to reside in Salt Lake City.
