By Sun Advocate

The Utah Department of Transportation will begin an asphalt overlay project on 7.2 miles of Utah Highway 1306 (Ridge Road) on June 3.
The road will be closed to coal traffic from 6 a.m. on Friday, June 3 until 6 p.m. on Monday, June 6 from reference point 0.0 to reference point 2.5. This is the section from Utah Highway 10 to the east side of the coal load-out intersection.
Truck traffic will be allowed to resume at 6 p.m. on June 6, but will be limited to the section of road from reference point 0.0 to reference point 2.5. The remainder of the project will be completed by the end of June.
Local traffic will have access to Ridge Road throughout the project.
Flaggers will direct traffic through the project. Motorists are urged to use caution, prepare to stop and watch for work crews and heavy equipment throughout the area.
Asphalt paving work will be performed during daylight hours only with heavy equipment maintenance work performed at night.
