The Carbon High cheerleaders work hard at each game to bring spirit to the school regardless of the games outcome.

The Carbon High Cheerleaders took second at the 2005 Vest in the West Cheerleading competition at Delta High recently.
To be a cheerleader requires a great deal of enthusiam, energy and athletic ability. It is not only a very demanding sport but is something that must be done year-round.
All the girls on the squad spend many hours of their time to promote school spirit at Carbon High.
This year the squad was able to raise enough money through fundraisers to buy the new mascot costume that can be seen at games and competitions.
One of the things many people don’t realize to be a cheerleader students must keep their grades up, like in all other types of athletics in the school. In fact the average GPA of the cheerleaders at Carbon is 3.6.
The squad consists of 24 girls who work hard to keep team spirit up whether a the team they are cheering for is undefeated or has only won a few or no games. In March the girls will go to Las Vegas to compete at the national cheerleading competition.
