Volunteers concentrate on applying the finishing touches in the process of preparing authentic ethnic dishes for the upcoming 2003 Greek Festival. After cutting 150 pounds of onions, the food preparers added the vegetable to 325 pounds of beans for a tasty treat.
The kitchen crew gathered Monday morning and finished the food preparation. Now the volunteers will begin the task of setting up booths and tables for the annual event , scheduled July 11 and July 12 at the Greek Orthodox Church in Price.
Along with authentic Greek food and pastries to tempt the taste buds of people planning to attend the celebration, the festival will provide entertainment and a variety of specially planned activities for Carbon County residents of all ages to enjoy.
