Two new boilers for the Price city swimming pool were lowered into their new home Monday morning by city crews. Since last September, pool personnel have limped along with failing boilers. Price City council voted after the failure to purchase the new units even though they were not budgeted.
The city did apply and receive $100,000 from the Utah Permanent Community Impact Board to cover the costs of purchasing the boiler. It is expected that the new boilers will be up and running by the end of March.
