The United Way of Southeast Utah kicked off their 2002 fall campaign with a breakfast Monday morning Sept. 30 at the Peace Gardens. Pam Juliano, executive director of the United Way welcomed the group and explained a few of the many programs that are offered through the local United Way. She explained the new community solution program where funding under $500 for project supplies is available to qualifying groups. She also discussed a program called the United Way community youth program where students from both Carbon and Emery High Schools have designated projects that will be funded partially through the United Way.
