A downed power pole serves as a silent witness to a single vehicle traffic accident Sunday at 4:07 p.m. on Carbonville Road. Utah Power & Light crews responded to the scene and worked to replace the pole. The mishap disrupted the electrical services at residences in the entire Carbonville area, located from the freeway to approximately 500 North. Power company workers had replaced the pole and restrung the electrical transmission lines by about 8 p.m. With power services restored, the heat came back on and everything was pretty much back to normal by 8:30 p.m.
