Margaret Kantor


PRICE – Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Margaret Ruth Beach Kantor, age 92, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002 at her home in Price after a brief illness.
She was born April 17, 1910 in Molen, Emery County, to Albert O. and Bertha Larsen Beach, the third of nine children. Ruth married Stanley J. Kantor May 18, 1934 and the marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple March 10, 1944.
Mom’s life was centered around her home and family. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, writing letters, beautiful flowers and cooking for her family.
She loved to the old home in Molen, Kenilworth and the beauties of the world.
She is survived by her three sons and their wives, Stanley S. (Myrna) Kantor, Mapleton; John F. (Carolyn) Kantor, Price; and Eddie L. (Vicky) Kantor, Sandy; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also sister, Irva Davis, Granbury, Texas; and brother, Bob Beach, Mesa, Ariz. She was preceded in death by sisters, Alta Nelson, Cleo Sorenson, Nina Sulpizio and brothers, Wendell, Floyd and Loren, as as well as her husband, Stanley.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to all of the special personnel of Rocky Mountain Hospice and their program, as well as a their deep appreciation to Dr. Potter for his tender loving care and concern.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 23, 11 a.m., at the Gordon Creek LDS Ward, 175 N. 1280 West, Price. A viewing will be one hour before the services. Burial will be at Molen Cemetery, 2:30 p.m., under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.


Mary Diamanti


PRICE – Our loving mother and Yia Yia, Mary Koulouris Diamanti, age 86, passed away at home after a short illness Nov. 19, 2002, while surrounded by her family.
She was born Jan. 8, 1916 in Hiawatha, to Demetrios “James” and Eleni “Helen” Papoulas Koulouris. Married James John Diamanti July 30, 1939 in Price. He died April 2, 1987.
She was a faithful member of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church and a member of the Philoptochos Society.
Mary was devoted to her family and friends and filled her life with cooking and sharing her love and friendship with those around her.
Survived by son, James J. (Kathy) Diamanti Jr., Wellington; daughter, Kathy Diamanti, Salt Lake City; sister, Penelope “Poppy” Koulouris, Salt Lake City; five grandchildren, Dionne (Brent) Oman, Derek Diamanti, Bill, Dustin and Janessa Warner; two great-grandchildren, Danielle and Jordyn Oman, all of Price; and many loving relatives and dear friends. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Nick and Peter Koulouris; and an infant sister.
Funeral service Saturday, Nov. 23, 11 a.m., Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. Trisagion service Friday evening, 7 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are welcome daily. Interment, Mountain View Cemetery, Helper.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, PO Box 688, Price, UT 84501.
