Jeana Dalpiaz Whitlock

HELPER/CLEARFIELD,UT-Jeana Marie Dalpiaz Whitlock was to everybody exactly what they needed; which meant something different to each person.  Her life began as a daughter and little sister born on March 27, 1977.  Her parents Mike and Angel adored her and knew from the beginning she was a force to be reckoned with.  Her sweet smile and sassy attitude would prove to be her legacy.  She followed in her dad’s footsteps, fighting for what she believed in and mimicked her mother’s loving spirit and huge heart.
    Being a little sister proved to be a challenge at times when her brother and sister would gang up on her.  Although they were fiercely protective of her, she was often the one they teased the most.  Jeana’s childhood was full of adventures from cracking open the same knee multiple times in the summer while playing with her cousins to snowball fights in the winter with her brother.
    Over the years, Jeana was a friend, cousin, tomboy, example, and a high honor graduate from Carbon High School in 1995.  She furthered her education gaining an Associate’s Degree from CEU in 1997 and a Bachelors’ degree from WSU in 1999.
    Let’s talk football, Jeana was and will forever be, Denver Bronco’s biggest fan.  Sundays were reserved for football.  She knew every team, every player, and all the standings.  She took on the role of the world’s best side line coach, referee, Fantasy Football League Commissioner and cheerleader: just ask anyone within a 100 mile radius, we’re sure they heard.  She attended many Denver Bronco games where she could be seen not only in one of her many jerseys but complete with a painted face and orange and blue hair.
    In 1998, Jeana’s next role began with the birth of her first nephew and each niece and nephew to follow throughout the years she claimed as her own.  She was an amazing Aunt!  Her love for her nieces and nephews was fierce and unconditional.  There was never a dull moment with Auntie Beana.  She was determined to make them all Broncos fans.
    Jeana went to work for Target and held different management positions.  She gained many new lifelong friends but most importantly she met the man she now calls her husband, best friend, and love of her life, Jed.  Jeana and Jed were married on September 18, 2004 at St. Anthony’s church in Helper.  Together they traveled the world, shared a love of Denver Broncos football, and enjoyed every second together.  Jeana moved on to pursue a career with the State of Utah for over 10 years as an Unemployment Auditor and currently a Regional Manager with the DABC.  She loved her job and the people she worked with.
    In 2010, her most important role in life came in September.  Jeana and Jed welcomed their son, Austin.  Austin shares Jeana’s beautiful blue eyes, love of the Broncos and her zest for life.  She is the most devoted mother and wants only the best for her little man.
    Jeana’s final role in life began on April 11, 2018.  She is now a guardian angel for us all.  She will be watching over each of us making sure we are safe, leading us in the right direction and turning all TV’s to Bronco football games on Sundays.
    Survived by her son, Austin; husband, Jed; parents, Mike and Angel Dalpiaz; sister, Bridget (Brandon) Hill; brother, Mike Dalpiaz Jr.; special sister, Amber Revoir; in-laws, John and Liz Whitlock; sisters-in-law, Steph (Tom) Christian and Jackie (Matt) Conlan; brothers-in-law Andy Whitlock and Wes (Jennifer) Whitlock; God parents Tom and Kathy Dalpiaz; nieces, Rachel, Tiffany, Makaela (God Daughter), Allie, Sophia, Ella, Teagan, Dylan, and Nancy; nephews, Tyler (Godson), Michael III, Anthony, Fisher, Liam, Jack, and Mateo; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
    Funeral Mass, Monday, April 16, 2018, 11:00 a.m., St. Anthony Catholic Church in Helper where the family will receive friends at the church Monday morning at 10:00 a.m.  The evening vigil service will be Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price where the family will receive friends at 6:00 p.m.  Committal service, Mt.
