The Price City Council has chosen Utah Local Governments Trust (ULGT) to be its insurance provider for the coming fiscal year.
At a meeting last week the Price City Council voted unanimously to accept the ULGT proposal, which includes liability, property, automobile, worker’s compensation, as well as ancillary products and services. The contract with ULGT is for one year, with the option to renew for an additional four one-year periods, after financial and performance reviews.
In other action, the council voted unanimously to award conditional use permits to:
 • Youth and Family Game Center, to be located at 441 East 100 North
• Card Store and Digital Arcade, to be located at 60 North 100 West
 • Operation Recovery, a treatment and pharmacy clinic, to be located within a Four-Corners Mental Health services location at 77 South 600 East
• Intrynsik Ink, a tattoo and body art retail establishment, to be located at 135 West Main Street
Nick Tatton, community director, said the planning and zoning commission recommended all four of those businesses be issued conditional use permits, as long as certain conditions were met. Those conditions are detailed for each business, based on location and type of business.
Price City has scheduled a surplus property sale. Items are listed on a website at www.publicsurplus.com. Items are mostly vehicles and furniture.
A contract to Intermountain Slurry Seal, Inc. in the amount of $480,875 to apply cape seal improvements to designated streets within Price City. The bid was accepted on Feb. 14 after sealed bids were opened.
A contract was approved to Jones and Demille Engineering in the amount of $183,000 for improvements to the Community Baseball Complex.
Business licenses were approved for Operation Recovery, to be located at 77 South 600 East and to The Black Market, to be located at 66 East Main Street.
