Sandra Nelson Kohlman (1939 – 2018)

Sandra Nelson Kohlman died on August 15, 2018 in Pocatello, Idaho. Born April 4, 1939 in Price, Utah to Gale E. Nelson and Clelia Ariotti Nelson.
She grew up in Price, Bingham Canyon, and Helper, Utah. Graduated from the University of Utah in 1961 earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology in 1976.
She married L. R. Fickel in 1963. They were the parents of one daughter, Holly Anne, born in 1968. They later divorced. She married Roger Kohlman on November 5, 1983. She spent 34 years working in the field of education, mainly in California. Sandra retired to Pocatello, Idaho in 2007.
She is survived by her husband Roger Kohlman of Pocatello, Idaho, and brother, Gale R. Nelson of Fremont, CA. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Holly Fickel MD and sister, Linda Nelson.
