The Carbon High School girls swim team scored a second place finish during the 3-A state tournament this last weekend in Heber City.
Rowland Hall took first place with a score of 279. Carbon’s team scored 257, edging out Emery High School, which scored 225 for third place.
Carbon girls swim coach Kamra Davis also took home a coveted accolade. She was named 3-A Girls Coach of the Year.
Carbon boys came in seventh at the tourney.
