USU Eastern Geary Event Center

The unveiling of the newly renovated theater brought faculty, students and community together for the ribbon-cutting that was held this past week at the USU Eastern Geary Event Center.
As a prelude to the ribbon-cutting the audience was treated to some eerie stories of the haunting of Elmo Geary. The theater built in 1959 was one of the first theaters in Price. Named after Elmo Geary because of his innovation and his determination to build the theater. Some still think that his spirit roams in the hallways to this day.
After the ribbon cutting was held those attending were treated to a tours of the building and entertained by their own USU Eastern dance and USU Eastern Drum line.
