EAST CARBON-Danny Leroy Summers, 75, passed away peacefully April 2, 2018 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born October 11, 1942 in Dragerton, Utah to Harold Leroy and Bell Rose Jewkes Summers. Married Bertha Boren, they later divorced.
Danny was a longtime resident of Carbon County who was always willing to help others throughout the community. He loved spending time at D&B Texaco where he enjoyed visiting and teasing everyone. He is a retired member of the U.M.W.A Hiawatha Local # 6363.
Danny loved time spent in the outdoors. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding his side-by-side. Danny was often found in Lake Powell or spending time with his family in the outdoors.
He is survived by his children, David (Kim) Summers and Tina (Jeff) Young; his loving companion, Sondra Bills; many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents; son, Shannon Summers; two daughters, Dannet Davis and Tonette Kuhn.
