Gene House

    PRICE-Gene Arnold House, age 75, passed away October 23, 2017 at his home in Price.
    He was born December 20, 1941 in Phoenix, Arizona to Jack and Wilma Tanner House.  Married Sherry Bentley, later divorced.  On February 14, 1974, Gene married Claudette “Beansy” Auberger in Ely, Nevada.  She died June 21, 1995.
    Gene honorably served his county in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He was a proud and distinguished life member of the Price American Legion Post #3, V.F. W. and the D.A.V. where he was always willing to assist his buddies in uniform.  Gene was a kind hearted and gracious individual who was willing to help anyone in need.  He will be sorely missed by his family, neighbors and a community of friends.
    He is survived by his two daughters, Laurie (Sterling) Bennion, Riverdale; Stacey (Russ) Enderton, England; brothers, Jack C. (Diane) House, Salt Lake, Gerald Jensen, Clifton Jensen, both of Provo; sister, Sylvia Messner, St. Louis, MO; special friend and beloved neighbor, Brandon (Jamie) Sicilia, Price; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, many loving nieces, nephews and neighbors who he loved waiving to as they drove past his home.
    Gene was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Claudette; granddaughter, Sherry Wright, and a sister, Verna Rhoeboeck.
    Funeral service, Saturday, October 28, 2017, 2:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home where the family will receive friends one hour prior to services.  Interment will be in the Price City Cemetery with military honors by the Price American Legion Post # 3.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Gene online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
