Colleen Singleton Jorgensen

Longtime Alaskan resident, Colleen Singleton Jorgensen, died Tuesday, October 3, 2017. She was 92 years old.
Colleen was born in Ferron, Utah on February 20, 1925. She married Wanless Jorgensen on October 5, 1943 in Wellington, Utah and was married 61 years until his death in March of 2005. They had 5 children. They moved to Palmer, Alaska in 1959 and relocated to Nikiski in 1966.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Kenai – 609 Forest Lane – Kenai. Viewing will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 prior to the services. Graveside services will be Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Ferron, Utah where Colleen will be laid to rest in the Ferron Cemetery next to her husband Wanless Jorgensen.
